Building Financial Confidence Through Education

We started Setamorx because too many smart people feel intimidated by investing. That shouldn't be the case.

Our Beginning

Back in 2019, I was having coffee with a friend who'd just gotten a promotion. Great salary bump, but she had no idea what to do with the extra money beyond letting it sit in savings.

That conversation stuck with me. Here was someone brilliant in her field, completely capable of learning complex concepts, but she felt locked out of investing because the financial world seemed designed to confuse rather than educate.

We realized there had to be a better way to teach investment fundamentals – one that respects people's intelligence while acknowledging that financial jargon can be unnecessarily intimidating.

What Drives Us Forward

C

Clarity Over Complexity

Investment concepts don't need to be wrapped in mystery. We break down strategies into understandable pieces that you can actually use.

P

Practical Learning

Every lesson connects to real scenarios you'll encounter. We focus on knowledge you can apply, not theoretical concepts that sound impressive but offer little value.

R

Realistic Expectations

Good investing is often boring. We teach sustainable approaches rather than chasing quick wins or promising unrealistic returns.

Meet the Team

We're a small group of educators and finance professionals who believe learning about money should be straightforward.

How We Teach

Our courses start with the basics – understanding what you actually own when you buy a stock or bond. From there, we build toward more sophisticated concepts like portfolio construction and risk management.

"The goal isn't to turn everyone into day traders, but to help people make informed decisions about their financial future."

We use case studies drawn from real market situations, including mistakes that even experienced investors have made. Learning from others' errors is often more valuable than studying success stories.

Each module includes practical exercises you can do with small amounts of money, so you can test concepts without risking significant capital while you're still learning.
